Festivals & Chamber Collaborations

Bellingham Festival of Music

The Bellingham Festival of Music has become one of my favorite musical homes each summer. Bringing together principal musicians from many of North America's leading orchestras, the festival creates an inspiring environment where exceptional artistry and genuine camaraderie go hand in hand. It's a privilege to collaborate with remarkable colleagues and guest artists while sharing unforgettable performances with the welcoming Bellingham community.

Archipelago Collective

Performing with the Archipelago Collective has been a refreshing reminder of what makes chamber music so special. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Washington's San Juan Islands, the festival embraces creativity, collaboration, and a more intimate concert experience. I especially enjoy the opportunity to connect directly with audiences in a setting that feels personal, conversational, and deeply rooted in the joy of making music together with friends.

Hidden Valley Music Seminars

Hidden Valley Music Seminars holds a special place in my musical journey. It was here that I first studied with Elaine Douvas before applying to Juilliard, an experience that profoundly shaped my path as an oboist. Returning years later as an instructor has been especially meaningful—a true full-circle moment.

What makes Hidden Valley so unique is the opportunity to spend an entire week focused solely on your instrument, surrounded by master teachers and dedicated musicians of all ages. It's an inspiring environment for learning, collaboration, and artistic growth, and I'm grateful to now give back to the community that had such a lasting impact on me.
