WHY STUDY WITH ME?

I've been on the other side of many auditions, serving as a panel member with the National Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, and the Audition Hacker training program. As a result, I know what makes a committee excited to hear you and eager to keep listening—and I also know the common mistakes that can quickly take a candidate out of consideration.

My goal is to help you avoid those pitfalls and present your very best playing. Whether you're preparing for your first audition or your next professional opportunity, we'll work together to build the confidence, consistency, and musical presence that make a memorable impression.

Teaching Philosophy

Great musicians are built through thoughtful practice, disciplined technique, and genuine curiosity. I believe every student benefits from individualized instruction that develops not only technical proficiency but also confidence, artistry, and independent musical thinking.

Lessons are collaborative, goal-oriented, and designed to provide practical tools students can apply long after each session.
